Premiere: CC:DISCO! ‘Magic (Is In The Tempo) [BASHKKA’s Basic Instinct Mix]’

CC:DISCO! is releasing her full ‘Magic (Is In The Tempo)’ EP later this week via her Miami Daddy label. Have an exclusive first listen to the new BASHKKA remix below.

The package – arriving tomorrow (29th March) – includes the superlative original collaboration with Canadian DJ, producer, and vocalist Jennifer Loveless, alongside a new single ‘Guitar Hero’ and a heady remix of the title cut courtesy of BASHKKA, one of DJ Mag’s Artists To Watch for 2024.

As playful and nostalgic as its name suggests, ‘Guitar Hero’ makes a bee-line for the nineties with sun-splashed piano chords and a cosmic house groove, whilst BASHKKA layers deeper, strobing rhythms and percussive loops with seriously seductive vocals on her Basic Instinct remix of ‘Magic (Is In The Tempo)’.

The EP chases up CC’s debut release on Phantasy, ‘Chez Moi (Waiting For You) ft. Confidence Man’, unveiled last summer, and comes spring-loaded with the same vibrant, nocturnal energy and glossy grooves.
