Premiere: ASHRR ‘Please Don’t Stop The Rain (Ron Trent Dub)’

Los Angeles electronic soul outfit ASHRR are set to release a new remix EP for their track ‘Please Don’t Stop The Rain’. Have an exclusive first listen to Ron Trent’s remix below.

On this playful rework of the group’s 2024 single, the Chicago house legend introduces hazy house textures and sunstruck grooves into a warming blend of cosmic disco, post-punk and indie dance. The track is set to arrive tomorrow (28th February) via 20/20 Vision Recordings, alongside two additional dancefloor-oriented ASHRR Soundsystem remixes.

The release lands ahead of Trent’s long-awaited return to global touring in 2025. To mark the occasion, he’s also partnered with Rush Hour to release Lift Off, a brand-new compilation of music recorded at different points over the last decade. Find out more here.

Ron Trent performed his first UK show in seven years in 2023, an eight-hour set at London’s Phonox in celebration of the club’s eighth birthday.
