Orbital’s final ‘Brown’ and ‘Green’ album live shows to be broadcast this week
Orbital will broadcast the final performance of their ‘Brown’ and ‘Green’ albums live show this weekend.
Brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll are bringing their The Green & Brown Album Tour, running since 2024, to London’s Brixton Academy for one last round. The sets will be broadcast live on Lounges.tv and will be available to stream for 48 hours.
Orbital have reissued their first self-titled LPs, ‘Green’ and ‘Brown’, to celebrate more than three decades of the project. Last November, they released a career-spanning anthology, titled ‘A Beginner’s Guide‘, on London Records.
Earlier today, Orbital teased a ‘Pink’ album release earlier today, which they later admitted was an April Fools’ Day joke.
Confidence Man hinted at a potential collaboration with Orbital in an interview with NME published earlier this month.
Orbital remixed the trance classic, Energy 52’s ‘Café del Mar’, paired with a music video, in May 2024.
