Novation introduces the Launchkey 88 MIDI keyboard
Novation has introduced its first 88-key MIDI keyboard controller, the Launchkey 88 MIDI keyboard.
The Launchkey 88 is furnished with a semi-weighted keybed – which Novation promise is their “best keybed to date” – 16 velocity-sensitive pads, eight scale types, an integrated arpeggiator with strum mode, and other features. It also integrates with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, and other DAWs.
According to Novation, the Launchkey 88 offers standalone capabilities, while it also comes with a software bundle of virtual instruments, plug-ins, and sample packs.
This is the first full-size addition to the Launchkey controller range that includes the portable Launchkey Mini and models spanning 25, 37, 49, and 61 keys.

Back in April, Novation launched a new controller range called the FLKey. Designed to work specifically with FL Studio, the FLKey is similar in design to the popular LaunchKey range that’s been popular for Ableton users for a few years.
