Mina releases album of classic trance remixes, 'Trancehall': Listen
Mina has self-released a new collection of edits via Bandcamp, called ‘Trancehall’.
The 12-track release sees the UK producer take on a number of ’90s trance classics, splicing various instantly recognisable melodies with UK funky, dancehall, gqom and amapiano rhythms.
Among the tracks that appear in edited form are Alice Deejay’s ‘Better Off Alone’, Vengaboys’ ‘We Like To Party’, Da Hool’s ‘Meet Her At The Love Parade’ and Zombie Nation’s ‘Kernkraft 400’.
Writing on Bandcamp, Mina summed up the collection as “a collection of edits of my favourite trance and dance-pop tracks from the ’90s and ’00s, fused together with sounds that I’m inspired by from around the world from gqom to megatron, bubbling to amapiano and more.”
