Meet the MC, our new DJ Mag Originals video series introducing the most vital artists in rap, launches this Thursday (4th March) at 7pm.
Celebrating an exciting time for the scene, Meet the MC launches with D Double E (4th March), Br3nya (18th March), and Backroad Gee (1st April).
Combining a freestyle series with in-depth fly-on-the-wall interviews, Meet the MC explores the stories of these crucial lyricists.
Each episode has been filmed across multiple locations, ranging from childhood settings to studios, and on-location video shoots, before culminating with an exclusive freestyle from each artist.
As part of the series, we are also spotlighting the producers behind the instrumentals used on each freestyle, through a series of editorial content.
