Manchester club Amber’s to spotlight emerging local talent in new Sunday party series, Afters
Recently opened Manchester club Amber’s is launching a new weekly Sunday party series, Afters.
Kicking off on Sunday, 9th February, the party will run from 4pm until 2am and advance tickets will be priced at £5. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, 31st February).
The event series is described by Amber’s as the club’s “pledge to new music as we invite aspiring DJs and undiscovered talent to send in mixes and music for their chance to play at the venue”.
Line-ups for Afters over the coming months will focus on showcasing upcoming DJs alongside the venue’s resident DJs. Unannounced special guests will also play at the parties, with full details on each party set to be announced soon.
The 1,000-capacity Amber’s opened last November. Helmed by fabric and Rinse FM resident Hutch, Nothing Forced creative agency founders Jeremy and Lawrence Abbott, and Sam Tunstall, it’s located on the city’s Oxford Road and split across two rooms, with both live and club events from local, national and international names on the programming agenda.
