Madam X announces debut EP, ‘Homecoming’

Madam X has announced her debut EP, ‘Homecoming’.

The upcoming EP, slated for release 24th October, will land on Madam X’s own label KAIZEN to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Each track on the release is a collaboration, with the Greek-British DJ working with DJ IM, Cartridge, Andy Martin and Doctor Jeep across its four tracks. You can listen to ‘Rassaputin’ with Doctor Jeep below.

Announcing the EP on social media, Madam X described it as a “a back-to-the-roots call to the underground” and a “product of many late night studio sessions, Zoom-Calls, B2B voice memos & Football-Field recordings.”

She continued: “Up until recently I’ve never felt the confidence to dive into the production game. I was always considered a ‘Record Label Boss’ …a ‘Dj’s DJ’ … ‘Not bad for a girl…’ loll. My rec label KAIZEN turns 10 this year & I really wanted to release something special to celebrate & commemorate the styles, scenes & music that changed my life & got me into Djing/raving in the first place.”

‘Homecoming’ is available for pre-order now in both digital formats and as a limited edition 12” vinyl, signed and sealed by Madam X herself. You can secure a copy here.

Madam X was featured in DJ Mag’s At Home With series last year, meeting Niamh O’Connor in Athens to discuss life in the city, her preparations for ‘Homecoming’, her MDMXERCISE fitness brand and more. You can read the feature here.
