Lil Keed, YSL rapper, dies, aged 24
Lil Keed, the Atlanta-based rapper signed to Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life label, has died aged 24.
“A member of our family is gone. Lil Keed was one of the most genuine and heartfelt human beings,” a representative of YSL tweeted yesterday (15th May). “He was an artist who loved his fans more than anything else. We lost a brother, a son, a father, and a friend. Keep him in your prayers and his legacy alive. Long Live Lil Keed”.
Keed’s brother, fellow rapper Lil Gotit, paid tribute on Instagram. “Can’t believe I seened u die today bro,” he wrote. “I did all my cries. I know what u want me to do and that’s go hard for Mama, Daddy, Our Brothers, Naychur, and Whiteboy #ImaHoldthisShitDown”.
Born Raqhid Jevon Render on 16th March, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia, Lil Keed signed with Young Thug’s YSL records via 300 Entertainment in 2018 and dropped his debut album, ‘Long Live Mexico’, in 2019.
The cause of Keed’s death has not yet been confirmed.
