Lady Blacktronika announces new EP on Peggy Gou’s Gudu label, shares single: Listen

Lady Blacktronika has announced her forthcoming EP on Peggy Gou’s Gudu Records, ‘Trablonika Daly’, and shared the first single. Listen to ‘Baby I Got It’ below.

The four-track EP, out 7th December, follows her contribution to this Spring’s ‘Gudu & Friends Vol. 1’ compilation, which the label described as “a classic LB cut that gets warpy and freaky as only she can.” ‘Trablonika Daly’ is similarly vibrant, with hypnotic synths and tactile drum beats throughout.

Closing the project, Brooklyn producer Octo Octa provides a 12-minute remix of ‘Hold My Hand’, following the release of her own EP – ‘Dreams Of A Dancefloor’ – earlier this autumn.

‘Trablonika Daly’ marks the final release of Gudu’s busiest year to date, having released music from Special Request, Matisa, Hiver, Salamanda, Closet Yi, and plenty more.

Earlier this month, Peggy Gou was voted the World’s No.1 House DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll 2023. The awards show and full sets are available to watch now on DJ Mag’s YouTube channel.
