KILIMANJARO releases debut solo single, ‘Hit Em With It’: Listen

Scottish-Zambian DJ and producer, KILIMANJARO, has released his debut solo single, ‘Hit Em With It’. Check it out below.

Out now on Diplo’s label, Higher Ground, the track aims to capture the vibrant energy that KILIMANJARO is renowned for in his DJ sets, while also incorporating vocals and percussion elements influenced by African gospel music.

‘Hit Em With It’ follows ‘Muleña’, a collaborative four-track EP between Belfast’s Hammer and KILIMANJARO that dropped on Hammer’s Remmah imprint last year. DJ Mag premiered Tornado Wallace’s trippy, percussive remix of the title track – you can listen to it here.

KILIMANJARO has a number of shows lined up in the coming months, with dates spanning across Central America, Europe and Asia.

Kicking off at Mexico City’s Estadio Aztec Stadium on 29th October, the DJ and producer will then play at London’s Village Underground on 3rd November, before two dates in Bangalore and Mumbai, India, in mid-November.

As the year draws to a close, he’s set to play Astra in Prisma Vision Club, in Giovinazzo, Italy, on 2nd December, and The Arches in Glasgow, UK, on 31st December to ring in the New Year.

He has also a number of confirmed tour dates for 2024, including stops in Ibiza, Stuttgart, Liverpool, and Snowbombing Festival in Austria.
