Jeremy Olander and Guinness announce performance from 100-year old Stockholm City Hall

Jeremy Olander has announced a historic broadcast performance from Stockholm’s City Hall. Set to broadcast exclusively across DJ Mag channels on Thursday 10th November, the show is Produced by Jeremy Olander’s label Vivrant and Studio Sven in collaboration with Guinness.

Stockholm’s City Hall is world famous for hosting monarchs, celebrities, and heads of state at the prestigious annual Nobel Prize banquet.

“I think every artist has a room in their hometown they fantasise about playing one day, and City Hall was mine,” Jeremy Olander tells DJ Mag.”To be blessed with the opportunity by the city to become the first-ever electronic artist to play in this room is a huge honour and something I’ll carry with me my entire life.”

Boasting a floor space of 1500 square metres and 22 metres from floor to ceiling, Blå Hallen — housed inside the compounds of City Hall — was completed in 1923. It’s considered the crown jewel of the late renowned architect Ragnar Östberg’s stellar resumé.

The event, which was filmed last month in front of a sold-out crowd of 1,200 guests featured Vivrant label artists MOLØ B2B OLING and a headline set by Jeremy Olander coupled with custom visuals by Andreas Strömquist and Torbjörn Fernström and custom stage installation by Timothy Edwards.

Watch the show on DJ Mag’s YouTube and Facebook pages at 19:00 on Thursday 10th November.
