Jamie Jones announces 2010s-era “throwback” set in London

Jamie Jones is playing a 2010s-era “throwback” at his upcoming London day festival, Paradise in the City, this August.

The Welsh star has added the nostalgic set to his Paradise brand‘s first-ever outdoor London festival on 2nd August at Boston Manor Park, in addition to his already announced headline slot. He’s invited his Hot Natured bandmate Ali Love to join for a live performance to underline the 2010s vibe.

“When a few people online requested a 2010-era set, something in my mind triggered, and I thought, you know what, this is the perfect time to bring back that sound”, Jones said in a press statement. “There’s a lot of music that is being released at the moment that I feel is a modern take on what we were doing back then, and I think now’s the perfect time to look back at that era, play some classics, bring Ali Love on stage for some Hot Natured business and revisit that deep house sound of the early 2010s that I was such a big part of driving forward.”

Elsewhere at Paradise in the City, there will be DJs from the likes of Hot Since ’82, Seth Troxler, Omar S, L.P. Rhythm, Bedouin, Manda Moor and more, plus back-to-backs from Richy Ahmed and wAFF and Archie Hamilton and Sidney Charles. Mr G. is also down to perform live. Last week, Jamie Jones launched his Paradise residency at new Ibiza “hyperclub” [UNVRS], running Wednesday nights through 1st October.
