IMS announces speakers and programme for 2022

Ibiza’s International Music Summit (IMS) has outlined its programme of speakers and events for its 2022 edition.

This year’s IMS will be centred around the White Isle’s Destino Pacha Ibiza resort, and will be hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar and Pete Tong. It will adopt a no-panel policy for the first time in its history, with a programme instead built around conversations, workshops, keynotes, presentations and other sessions with various music industry figures.

Brian Eno, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, Kerri Chandler, Patrick Topping, Richie Hawtin, TSHA, Laurent Garnier, and Duran Duran & Erol Alkan will all participate in interview sessions. DVS1 will also discuss his new Aslice concept, which you can read more about here.

Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels will give an opening keynote on ‘The Road To Recovery’ as the dance music industry emerges out of successive lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Elsewhere, YouTube and Google’s Global Head of Music Lyor Cohen will be in conversation with Pete Tong, and a special day of programming will explore the Metaverse and Web3 concepts such as NFTs.

This year’s IMS will run from 27th-29th April. Find more information here.
