Idle Hands announce last release “for the time being” with Bruce, K-Lone, more

Bristol label and record store Idle Hand’s final record “for the time being” is a four-tracker featuring Bruce, K-Lone, Rhythmic Theory and Glances.

“This is the end of a chapter,” the crew wrote on Instagram, “the last Idle Hands release for the time being.”

Landing on vinyl later this summer, the 12″ features four artists who have close ties to Idle Hands. It comprises a “contemplative dancefloor dub in tribute to Alex T” from Bruce, a “subtle and subby house roller” from K-Lone, “a bumpy and bassy techno track” from Rhythmic Theory and a track from Glances, who “bring a deft funkiness to the broken techno sound”.

Idle Hands launched themselves onto the scene back in 2009 with an EP from Livity Sound founder Peverelist, ‘IDLE001’. This new release follows ‘IDLE064’, Dream Cycle’s 2021 EP, ‘Deep Dream Generator.’
