Serato unveils DJ Pro 4.0 software update with redesigned interface

Serato has announced a new updated to its DJ Pro 4.0 software.

Featuring a significant redesign of its interface, the beta update has been launched this week. Serato says it was developed with direct input from the company’s global community of DJs, and brings highly requested advancements designed to improve workflow and enhance performance.

The update aims to streamline crate management and offer users a more intuitive and customisable music library experience. Among the new features are advanced crate searching and filtering tools; the option to colour-code crates; the ability to assign a customisable rating scale for tracks using emojis; and the option to create a shortcut to your favourite or most used crates at the top of your crate list for easy access.

You can sign up to access the public beta version of the update here, and find out more about the new update here.

Last year, Serato expanded its support for Native Instruments and Pioneer DJ controllers.
