Hardwell releases Ultra Miami intro track, ‘Move’, with KAAZE: Listen

Hardwell has released the opening track from his Ultra Miami festival set. You can listen to ‘Move’ below.

The track marks 1,000 releases on the DJ and producer’s own Revealed Recordings, and features another of the imprint’s big names, KAAZE. First releasing for the label a decade ago with ‘Atomic’, the signee’s output alone accounts for more than 50 releases in the stable’s back catalogue.

Hardwell’s intended set time at this year’s Ultra Miami had to be moved when day one of the weekend-long event closed early due to severe weather. Despite this, Saturday went ahead as planned with the Dutch star eventually playing a rescheduled set at 7.25 PM. You can watch the performance, alongside sets from Oliver Heldens, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Tiësto, Reinier Zonneveld and Armin van Buuren, here

In the weeks after Ultra Miami, Hardwell also released a free sample pack aimed at producers on GarageBand iOS and Logic Pro for iPad. This followed an announcement that he would be expanding his YouTube channel to include exclusive live streams, tutorials for aspiring studio heads, and other content.

Last week, Hardwell played a key role in celebrations to mark his hometown team of NAC Breda’s return to top division football in the Netherlands. An event took place in the centre of Breda on Sunday 2nd June, and involved a number of musicians and cultural figures from the region. Hardwell was drafted for an exclusive 30-minute set dedicated to his hometown, its team and fans. Watch it here.
