Gorillaz release 15-piece tattoo collection

Gorillaz lovers can now show off their fandom with official tattoos — temporary ones, anyway.

In partnership with semi-permanent tattoo brand Inkbox, the enduring virtual band has launched a 15-piece collection of designs featuring members Murdoc, Noodle, 2-D and Russell, as well as artwork and visuals from the early days of the band.

The press release includes a quote from bassist Murdoc: “If you’re one of those sensitive types who doesn’t enjoy pain, then try my new Inkbox tatts! It’s the next best thing to having me around forever.”

The tattoos last 1-2 weeks and take about 24 hours to develop once applied to the skin.

Earlier this week, Flume shared a new collaborative track with Gorillaz called ‘Palaces’ — listen to it here.
