New trance and Eurodance documentary released by Arte: Watch

European culture channel Arte has shared a new documentary on trance and Eurodance.

The 16-minute film is called Trance Revival: Von wegen Trash-Musik! and explores both genres’ respective histories, as well as their recent resurgence as popular sounds on dancefloors.

The documentary takes in interviews with the likes of French DJ and producer Grand V (pictured) and Berlin’s Sachsentrance collective. It forms part of the Arte Tracks series of films which explores various localised sub-cultures.

You can watch Trance Revival: Von wegen Trash-Musik! in full below in German and French.

Last year, Arte shared a documentary on the late French DJ and producer DJ Mehdi.
