Field Maneuvers festival announces stage hosts for final edition in its current form
Field Meneuvers has confirmed the stage hosts for this summer’s festival, which runs from 16th to 18th August at a secret location in Norfolk, England.
This will be the final edition of the much-loved weekender in its current format. Tickets are on sale now.
Returning crews include Dalston Superstore and Dialled In, Machine, Neighbourhood, Osáre Editions, and Pacifist Techno Sanctuary, led by the likes of Ben Sims, Elena Combi, and Tasha. Meanwhile, a number of new names are involved too, with entourages from the highly respected boutique weekender KALLIDA, Ifeoulwa’s Intervention, Tash LC’s Club Yeke and Dean Bryce and Hannah TW’s LOCAL heading to the site.
“Here we go. The final Field Maneuvers… in its current form. What exactly does that mean? To be honest, your guess is as good as ours. 21 festivals in the UK have already cancelled this year so we need to do some radical re-thinking in order to survive,” said a spokesperson for Field Meneuvers.” So just as we’ve finally ironed out (most) of the creases, what better way to celebrate than by returning to square one.
“One thing we do know for sure is that the FM we have all grown to love and know will cease to exist in its current guise after this party,” they continued. “But you know we don’t do things by halves, so we are going to be going all out. We’ve invited long term FM fam Dalston Superstore, Dialled In, Ben Sims’s Machine, Elena Colombi’s Osàre Editions, iona’s Low End Dreams, Local Group’s Laser Dome to host takeovers, as well some crews that we admire, Tasha’s Neighbourhood, Tash LC’s Club Yeke, and LOCAL.”
Now in its 11th year, Field Meneuvers has grown from a small session run by and for friends into one of the UK’s most respected summertime electronic music gatherings — you can revisit our review from the first instalment here. You can also listen back to sets from last summer’s edition here.
In 2022, a crowdfunder was launched to safeguard the future of the festival amid a cost crisis across the sector as a whole, and organisers recently announced plans to scale things back in 2025, returning to a more intimate format for future editions.
