Faithless share new single, ‘Peace and Noise’, featuring Suli Breaks: Listen

Faithless are gearing up to release the next single from their upcoming album, ‘Champion Sound’. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Peace and Noise’ below.

Following a sold-out 2024 UK/EU tour featuring dates at Brixton Academy and the Roundhouse, followed by a landmark third Glastonbury headline performance, the English electronic outfit return their attention to the club with a fiery new single.

Set for release tomorrow (21st March), ‘Peace and Noise’ sees the band weave warm synth-pads, electro motifs and rolling drums into a quintessential Faithless floor filler. There’s also a feeling of introspection and poignancy to the track courtesy of London poet and vocalist Suli Breaks, who has been a frequent collaborator of the band since the passing of former Faithless frontman Maxi Jazz in December 2022.

Speaking on the new single, Faithless said: “Suli Breaks was a star on our last album and here again he provides lyrical content that is both prosaic and profound, deepening the funky rowdiness of this track, which, in itself, is a little gem to warm everyone up for the warmth and genius of the forthcoming album, ‘Champion Sound’.”

‘Peace and Noise’ is the second single from the incoming new record, following the July release of ‘Find A Way’. Further details about ‘Champion Sound’ are still to be revealed.

In August, Faithless also released a new track ‘I’m Not Alone (Rest Well Maxwell)’ in honour of late frontman Maxi Jazz. The single arrived on the 26th anniversary of the group’s global dance anthem ‘God Is A DJ’ from their second studio album ‘Sunday 8PM’.

‘Champion Sound’ is set for release later this year via ADA. Pre-save the new single here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Peace and Noise’ below.

The band have also announced a stacked summer of live dates, which you can check out beneath the track.
