Daphni shares video for new album track, ‘Arrow’: Watch

Caribou’s Dan Snaith has dropped a new track and music video under his Daphni alias. Check out ‘Arrow’ below.

The track is the third to be shared from the Canadian artist’s fourth album as Daphni, ‘Cherry’. “‘Arrow’ is one of those tracks that’s happy to sit still – a loop that is content to keep looping and less happy the more fussy the arrangement becomes,” Snaith said of the single. “There have been some really special moments when I’ve played it out.

“It’s not ostentatiously showy, no big builds or drops… but it has a way of building a febrile atmosphere in a club. When repetition pays off, it’s like staring at a Magic Eye picture as everything clicks into focus.”

You can listen to ‘Arrow’, and check out the visualiser by Damien Roach aka @555×5555, below. ‘Cherry’ will be released 7th October via Snaith’s own Jiaolong label. Pre-order it here.
