Chicane reworks 1996 trance classic, ‘Offshore’: Listen

Chicane has released two symphonic renditions of his 1996 trance classic, ‘Offshore’. Listen to them below.

The two reworks, ‘Symphonic Rehearsal Mix’ and the ‘DC Symphonic Rehearsal Mix’, reimagine the original track from Chicane’s debut LP, ‘Far From the Maddening Crowds’, which received a special 25th anniversary edition in 2022.

Last year, the English producer and musician had his 1999 trance track, ‘Saltwater’, covered by Courtesy for her debut album. Young Marco also dropped a remix of ‘Saltwater’ featuring Moya Brennan last year, premiering the new track during his Dekmantel set. You can watch Chicane, aka Nicholas Bracegirdle, chat with DJ Mag about the making of the track here.

Chicane dropped his ninth studio album, ‘Nevertheless’, last June. The release saw the trance producer explore a more downtempo direction than his previous material.

Listen to the two new two symphonic renditions of ‘Offshore’ below.
