Block9 announces full line-up for Glastonbury 2025
Block9 has announced its full line-up for this year’s Glastonbury Festival, which takes place from Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th June.
Block9’s 2025 line-up includes a Daytime Block Party on Saturday 28th June that runs across two venues for the first time — Genosys and The NYC Downlow — featuring Derrick Carter, Jayda G, Don Letts, Fatboy Slim, Hot Chip, Luke Solomon and Melle Brown.
IICON, the immersive audio-visual arena in Block9 East, starts on Thursday 26th June with The House of Xtravaganza’s THOG (Rush Davis) and Pearson Sound. Friday has Cybotron, led by frontman and techno pioneer Juan Atkins, and Two Shell. Saturday highlights including Paranoid London (Live), SHYBOI, and Makadsi, while BBC Radio 1’s Benji B plays his IICON debut. Sunday features artists including Bushbby, Raggs and Sippin’ T, as well as IICON’s traditional drum & bass finale with Sub Focus, Nia Archives and DJ Storm.
Genosys, the giant brutalist structure that returned to Block9 last year for the first time since 2019, will host a B3B from Peach, Saoirse and Moxie, as well as sets from Lance DeSardi, Ouissam, Heidi Lawden — who makes her Genosys debut — Anil Aras, Confidential Recipe b2b Leeon, Leonce, ISAbella, EMA and Hannah Holland. London’s queer rave founders Chapter 10 and Aaron Clark from Honcho also feature, as well as Smartbar resident, Garrett David — who returns with a brand-new live show. The weekend will close with Genosys’ annual homage to acid house, with Justin Strauss, Craig Richards and Block9 veteran Felix Dickinson.
The legendary NYC Downlow returns with what Block9 describes as the “LGBTQ+ house and disco Hall of Fame”. The weekend’s line-up features a Deep Dish ‘classic house’ set, Heléna Star, Derrick Carter — who makes a long-awaited headline slot — DJ Disciple, Gerd Janson, Luke Solomon, and Blitz Club resident Bashkka, while Scott Diaz also makes his return. Elsewhere, South London’s DJ Biggy C from Bootylicious plays the Downlow for the first time, while Downlow residents Grace Sands and Prosumer both return, and Luke Howard from Horse Meat Disco delivers the club’s famed closing set. The NYC Downlow is a queer venue that raises money for good causes through its moustache entry system and merchandise sales.
Finally, hidden at the back of the NYC Downlow, The Meat Rack returns with DJs including Seth Troxler, NIKS, Nicholas Matar, Nabihah Iqbal, Andy Cato (Groove Armada), Shay Malt, Deptford Northern Soul Club, Mandel Turner and Mark Hume.
This year, Block9 has also partnered with the British political campaign collective, Led By Donkeys, on a brand-new collaboration.
