Avicii’s ‘Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version’ from final show released as single: Listen 

A previously unreleased version of Avicii’s ‘Forever Yours’ has been officially released. Listen to ‘Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version’, featuring Sandro Cavazza, below.

This version of ‘Forever Yours’ picked up popularity after it was featured in the recent Netflix documentaries the personal I’m Tim and My Last Show, which shows his last-ever performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza in August 2016 in full. 

Avicii and Swedish singer-songwriter Sandro Cavazza began working on the track in early 2016, and he began to play versions of it during performances. After Avicii’s death in 2018, Cavazza worked with Kygo to release ‘Forever Yours (Tribute)‘ in 2020. 

Last February, an unheard Avicii remix of Zac Brown Band’s ‘Beautiful Drug’ was released for the first time. His final Swedish performance, recorded at the Tallriken in Pildammsparken, Malmö in 2016, was released online in June 2024. A photobook titled The Life and Music of Tim Bergling, to benefit the Tim Bergling Foundation, was published that same month.

As of September 2024, ‘Levels’ became the sixth track to hit one billion streams on Spotify.
