Arielle Free lands on DFTD with ‘Wasabi’: Listen

Arielle Free has made her debut on the Defected’s DFTD imprint with ‘Wasabi’. Check it out below. 

The new track, which features a vocoder-led sample over a driving four-on-the-floor beat, follows her gospel-inspired 2023 track, ‘Feels So Good’, which marked her debut on Defected. It also follows ‘Technicolour Kenny,’ released on her house imprint Free Your Mind the same year, as well as 2024’s ‘Blow Your Mind’ and a spree of other remixes.

It’s been a busy year for the Glaswegian broadcaster, DJ, and producer, who recently appeared at Defected’s Ushuaïa Ibiza residency, Love Saves The Day, Triip Festival, Elrow Madrid, and many other events.

Back in 2023, she also raised over £500,000 for Comic Relief during a gruelling 50-hour cycling and DJing challenge.
