Anastasia Kristensen announces new EP, ‘Volshebno’, on Houndstooth

News

Anastasia Kristensen has a new EP on the way.

Titled ‘Volshebno’, the three-track EP comes two years on from the Russian producer’s first release with Houndstooth, ‘M A X I M A’.

The new EP takes its title from the Russian word for ‘magical’. “It’s that feeling inside when you know something special is happening,” says Kristensen, “the feeling you get when you have a brilliant idea or a crush on someone.”

To accompany the EP’s announcement, Houndstooth has released ‘Volshebno (Stretched)’ from the EP, which is described as a jungle interpretation of the release’s titular track. Kristensen says the track has “rich synths and an atmosphere, which is all about this magical moment when you have realised something new and exciting has just happened”.

You can listen to ‘Volshebno (Stretched)’ below. The full EP will be released on 10th September.
