Amelie Lens and Charlotte De Witte announce debut b2b sets at two-day Flanders Expo event
Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte have announced two b2b shows at Flanders Expo in Belgium.
In a post shared to social media today (Thursday, 5th September), the techno titans revealed they will be DJing back-to-back for the first time at two shows on 31st January and 1st February 2025. Lens and de Witte will play b2b on both nights at the 20,000-capacity Flanders Expo, located in Ghent, with the full line-up set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The announcement comes after weeks of teasing a potential collaboration, including cryptic posts shared on both artist’s social media hinting at a “surprise” incoming, and a hidden message revealed during their recent solo shows.
Both from Belgium, Lens and de Witte have been credited with taking the techno genre to new heights, gracing the world’s biggest stages and releasing chart-topping productions whilst helming their respective EXHALE and KNTXT imprints. Despite their parallel upwards ascent, the duo have never played together at an event of this scale, with the Flanders Expo B2B being described as a “unique” and “once in a lifetime experience”.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Charlotte!”, Lens shared today. “The time has finally come to unite and create something truly unique and special for our communities. We’re one scene, united by our unstoppable love for the music!”
Sharing her excitement about the event, de Witte added: “Flanders Expo, I’m back! It’s our fourth year at Flanders Expo and for this edition, we’re going above and beyond with not one, but two nights. It feels incredibly right to join forces with Amelie Lens, our paths have crossed many, many times and it’s been fantastic to see us both grow in this ever changing techno scene. This is Belgian Techno united, and this will be huge.”
