High Contrast announces ‘True Colours’ 20th anniversary vinyl edition and remix pack

High Contrast has announced a 20th-anniversary edition of his debut LP, ‘True Colours’.

The Welsh drum & bass producer and musician – real name Lincoln Barrett – will release a curated remix version of ‘True Colours’ on vinyl on Record Store Day 2022, which is held this year on 23rd April.

On 24th June, a full digital version of the album will be released, featuring originals, as well as remixes from the likes of Flava D, Marky, Winslow, Logistics, Camo & Krooked & Mefjus (whose rework of ‘Return of Forever’ drops on 27th May) and more.

Marking the announcement is a remix of ‘Music Is Everything’ from ‘True Colours’ by Pola & Bryson, which can be streamed below.

The 23-track ‘True Colours’ was released via Hospital in October 2002, transforming High Contrast into one of the biggest artists in drum & bass. Revisit his 2020 Selections piece for DJ Mag.
