Sven Väth plays DJ set at Elon Musk’s Tesla GIGAFACTORY opening

Sven Väth played a DJ set at Elon Musk’s Tesla Gigafactory opening on Tuesday (22nd March).

Thousands of people descended on the Berlin factory to see the techno legend spin “some techno beats” while a bounty of new Tesla car models shimmied away in the background.

“Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending some time with Elon Musk again.I played some techno beats for his opening of the really gigantic GIGAFACTORY!!! Thanks to the great team,” wrote Väth on Instagram. Check out pictures of the event below.

Last October, Musk threw a 9000-person rave to inaugurate the new German factory. The event reportedly had a festival element to it, featuring live music from techno DJs, as well as dance and some large-scale stage design to host the performance.

Back in 2020, Väth remixed Elon Musk’s EDM track ‘Don’t Doubt Your Vibe’. Speaking about Musk following the Axel-Springer award ceremony at which Musk was honoured, Vath said: “I consider him one of the great visionaries of our time. Making a difference for all of us on this planet. But he does not stop there. He goes beyond.”
