Bradley Zero shares online workshop on how to launch and run a record label: Watch

Bradley Zero has shared a new online workshop that delves into how to launch and run a record label.

On Friday, 18th February, the Rhythm Section founder, NTS resident and BBC Radio 1 regular shared ‘Rhythm Section Workshop 001: How to start, run and grow a record Label,’ which breaks down the process step-by-step.

In the span of 2 hours and 25 minutes, Zero explores, in his own words, “the passion required to start your own imprint, industry secrets, accounting fundamentals and how to nurture, promote and grow your label into a business.”

Among the specific topics explored by the Leeds-born, London-based DJ include A+R, contracts, manufacturing, distribution, PR, accounting and the day-to-day running of a studio.

In December 2021, Rhythm Section International won in the best label category at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards.

Last month saw the return of 7 Days of Sound, a series of workshops designed to connect people of marginalised genders.
