CCL launches Subglow label with georg-i EP

CCL has launched a new label, Subglow.

The imprint takes its name from a party series that the DJ and producer runs in Berlin, and will focus on “music that makes the subs glow”.

Each release on the label will come with artwork by CCL themselves, as well as additional writings and poems by close friends.

The first release on Subglow is a five-track EP by Bristol producer georg-i, who has previously released records on Perko’s FELT label and YCO, the imprint run by aya and BFTT.

‘Rebuild’ takes in three original cuts by georg-i and remixes by Metrist and B. McQueen. It will be released on Friday, 7th June.

In November, CCL released their debut solo EP, ‘Plot Twist’, via !K7.

They also put out a cassette mixtape, ‘A Night In The Skull Discotheque’, via Eris Drew and Octo Octa’s T4T LUV NRG label early last year.
