Snoop Dogg is being sued for the alleged sexual assault and battery of a woman in 2013, TMZ reports.
The woman, identified as Jane Doe, reports that the rapper sexually assaulted her the day after one of his concerts at Club Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California on 29th May 2013. The rapper has reportedly denied the claims. The lawsuit also states that an associate of Snoop Dogg, Bishop Don “Magic” Juan, sexually assaulted her.
In the lawsuit, which was filed at Los Angeles federal court yesterday (9th February), the woman reports that Bishop Don “Magic” Juan took her to his home against her wishes after the concert. The following morning, the lawsuit says, he “removed his penis from his pants” and “repeatedly shoved his penis into (her) mouth.”
The lawsuit goes on to state that Bishop Don “Magic” Juan then took the woman to Snoop Dogg’s Studio, where the rapper was reportedly filming his TV series, Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network. According to the lawsuit, the woman felt unwell upon arrival at the studio and was in the bathroom when Snoop Dogg reportedly entered the room and forced her into giving him oral sex. The rapper reportedly “proceeded to masturbate and ejaculated on [Jane Doe’s] upper chest and lower neck.”
Snoop Dogg is reportedly being sued for sexual assault and battery by Jane Doe under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. According to TMZ, Snoop Dogg has denied the reports.
The filing for the lawsuit states that the woman had obtained the right to sue from the Department of Fair Employment and Housing in December 2021, and that she had agreed to “attempt to resolve this dispute through a private mediation”, which took place on 8th February.
The filing states that this mediation was “unsuccessful” and that “immediately after the mediation ended”, Snoop Dogg posted an image on Instagram that read “Gold digger season is here”. The lawsuit, filed by lawyer Matt Finkelberg with the Derek Smith Law Group, describes Snoop Dogg’s Instagram post as “obviously threatening” against the woman.
The report comes in the same week that it was announced that Snoop Dogg had acquired Death Row Records. The rapper is due to release his new album, ‘B.O.D.R. (Bacc on Death Row)’, tomorrow (11th February), and is scheduled to perform the Super Bowl half-time show this Sunday.
