The Cause announces seaside festival at Pontins

The Cause has announced a seaside festival at Pontins.

The team behind the former (and much-loved) North London club, which closed its doors for good in January this year, has revealed they will be taking The Cause to the coast for three days in May.

Dubbed The Cause Seaside Beano, the event will take place at Pontins Camber Sands Holiday Park from the 20th to the 23rd May, with the likes of cult queer party promoters Adonis, Lobster Theremin, Keep Hush collective and Machine serving as the main partners.

Tickets for the event will cost around £100 for the weekend, including accommodation, and go on sale next Tuesday 15th February. Register your interest here.

For many, The Cause will be remembered as one of this generation’s most treasured London clubs. It pioneered a model of working with a local council to occupy a space on a temporary basis, as the surrounding area was mid-development, and has raised a huge amount of money for charity. It also showcased some of the UK’s best promoters, DJs and live acts on a weekly basis across its sprawling site. You can read DJ Mag’s feature about the last weekend at The Cause here.
