DJ Mag announces line-up for Best of British 2021 awards party

News

DJ Mag has announced the line-up for this year’s Best of British awards party.

Following the nominee announcement for DJ Mag’s 2021 Best of British awards, we return to The Steel Yard in London on Thursday 16th December for a very special awards event, featuring a line-up of nominees and stellar talent.

Taking place from 7PM until 2AM, performances on the night will come from Rhythm Section label boss Bradley Zero, drum & bass mainstay dBridge, who presents his Black Electric live show, and UK duo Dusky.

Elsewhere, BBC Introducing’s Jaguar spins b2b with rising Scottish star Ewan McVicar, with other sets coming from previous Breakthrough DJ of the year award winner — and this year’s Best DJ nominee — Or:la, Solid Grooves co-founder and DJ Mag cover star, PAWSA, and a special performance from Youth Music’s PERiiSU.

Tickets are now on sale for the event from £7, and available to purchase here.

Voting for the DJ Mag Best of British awards 2021 is open now until 29th November. You can check the full list of categories and nominees, and cast your vote, here.

This year marks the 15th edition of the awards, our annual celebration of UK talent. Positioned as a counter-balance to the global Top 100 DJs poll, our Best Of British awards are a chance to shine a spotlight on the homegrown talent that continues to place the UK scene at the forefront of electronic music.

For this year’s Best of British awards, DJ Mag has teamed up with Youth Music. The charity partner equalises access to making, learning and earning in music for all young people. They’ve made incredible steps towards breaking down barriers in the music industry, to ensure that the sound of the next generation is more diverse, more relevant, more equitable and more creative.

Best of British Awards is supported by Hoxton Spirits and White Claw Hard Seltza.
