Watch David Guetta create a future rave ‘Titanium’ edit from scratch

News

Watch David Guetta create a ‘Titanium’ edit from scratch via DJ Mag’s YouTube channel.

In our latest original feature content, Grammy award-winning DJ and producer David Guetta creates a future rave edit of his global hit ‘Titanium’, which features vocalist Sia.

Using Ableton Live’s stock plugins, Serum and more, Guetta breaks down his production process to transform the EDM anthem into a festival-focused cut. It follows a recent How I DJ tutorial with Pioneer DJ and DJ Mag, where David Guetta came to DJ Mag’s London HQ to share a host of DJ tips and techniques including a demo of his hybrid setup, key sync, creative use of FX, and much more.

Released as a single back in 2011, ahead of of David Guetta’s fifth studio album ‘Nothing But The Beat’, ‘Titanium’ went on to become a 5x platinum, 3x platinum, and 2x platinum record in Australia, the U.S., and the UK respectively.

Last year, Guetta topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, overtaking 2019’s winners, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. This year’s Top 100 DJs poll closes next week, and you can vote for your favourites here.
