Daft Punk and streetwear brand PLEASURES’ capsule collection and pop-up stores launch this month

The Daft Punk and Los Angeles streetwear brand PLEASURES limited-edition collaboration is coming to three pop-up stores this summer.

The capsule collection, first announced in January, will be available at “immersive pop-up experiences” in Paris from 28th to 29th June, then LA on 12th and 13th July, and lastly Mexico City from 17th to 20th July.

“Each location is thoughtfully curated to honor the legacy of Daft Punk through the unique cultural lens of its host city”, according to the brand’s website. In addition to the clothing line, there will be “home goods, objects, and ephemera”, via PLEASURES’ Instagram, plus “interactive experiences” not publicly detailed.

For a project that formally ended in 2021, Daft Punk have been active sharing Interstella 5555 livestreams, screenings and merch, a drumless edition of ‘Random Access Memories’, featuring in Pharrell’s LEGO movie, pulling a range of footage and music from their archives and more. Ben Cardew examines the limits of a brand beyond the band in this 2024 feature.
