Michael Bibi donates over £120,000 to Royal Marsden Cancer Charity after Finsbury Park show
Michael Bibi has donated over £120,000 to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity following his recent One Life show at Finsbury Park.
Last year, the DJ and Solid Grooves boss was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spinal cancer. After six months of treatment, he announced his remission at the end of 2023 after making surprise return to Ibiza’s DC-10 that September, performing for the first time since his diagnosis.
Bibi’s one-day festival, One Life, took over Finsbury Park in London this July, as part of his ongoing One Life world tour celebrating his cancer-free status since December 2023. He brought out his dad, Robin, to play guitar to a crowd of 45,000 cheering fans. Now, he has revealed that he’s donated the money raised from that festival, a total of £124,832, to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, a world leader in cancer care, pioneering treatments and ground-breaking research.
“Today I visited the Royal Marsden for my regular check-ups and to present the staff with the money we raised from the One Life show at Finsbury Park. To everyone who was part of this show, thank you for making this possible. Through dancing, we’ve directly helped others like myself and contributed to saving more lives. My heart is full, thank you.”

At the festival, Bibi encouraged attendees to join the stem cell transplant register, a key part of his treatment for CNS lymphoma, in partnership with UK charity Anthony Nolan. The day’s line-up also featured Dixon, Chloé Caillet, Enzo Siragusa, and Salomé Le Chat.
In May, the British DJ and producer launched a new clothing line to raise funds for cancer research.
