Anfisa Letyago announces audio-visual live tour, releases compilation: Listen

Anfisa Letyago has announced a new audio-visual live tour alongside the release of a new compilation.

On 11th September, the Naples-based producer, DJ, and label head of NSDA unveiled Partenope, a cutting-edge audio-visual composition created in collaboration with AI artist Guisy Amoroso, aka Marigoldff.

Inspired by an ancient Greek myth about a mermaid discovered off the coast of Naples, Partenope will transform Letyago into the mythical creature using a 3D scan, creating what the press release describes as a “fully underwater, ethereal parallel dimension.”

Speaking about the show, which premiered earlier this month at Red Valley Festival in Sardinia, Letyago said: “The history of my city has always captivated me. I named my label NSDA after Nisida, an island near Naples. While seeking new inspiration some time ago, I came across the tale of Partenope, a Greek myth about a mermaid who arrived and perished on the coast of Naples, becoming the symbol of the city.”

She added, “The concept of a woman embodying something as meaningful as Naples enchanted me. This story resonated with me deeply, and I felt compelled to weave it into my artistic journey.”

Letyago will bring the first phase of the AV show to the following cities at the end of the year:

1st November – Nitsa Club, Barcelona
9th November – Electric Brixton, London
7th December – Duel Beat, Naples
15th December – La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris

Alongside the AV tour news, Letyago has also announced NSDA’s first VA compilation, ‘Utopia’. The 20-track digital compilation features a mix of NSDA veterans and newcomers, including Answer Code Request, FILM, Bambounou, François X, and Not By Me.

Speaking about the compilation, Letyago explained that ‘Utopia’ “embodies the concept of an abstract, mythological world inhabited by evolving, formless sea creatures and the entire environment surrounding them.”

“This world exists purely in our imagination, representing a rejection of the possible by embracing the impossible,” she added. Each artist interprets their experience through their unique vision and sound. Each track is a personal journey into the world of ‘Utopia’.”

The double announcement comes two months on from Letyago releasing a new single, ‘Origami‘. Back in April, she shared ‘Feelin’,’ the inaugural release on new Berlin-based label noted. records.
