Tanat Teeradakorn announces new EP on CHINABOT, ‘NATIONAL OPERA COMPLEX’

Tanat Teeradakorn is releasing a new EP on CHINABOT.

‘NATIONAL OPERA COMPLEX’ lands on 31st October and follows from the multi-disciplinary Thai artist’s 2025 solo exhibition NATIONAL OPERA COMPLEX at Gasworks in London.

Inspired by “five seminal songs pivotal in Thailand’s activist history”, the EP takes the form of a five-act opera that “reflects on the pervasive influence of media on politics, economics, and culture”, according to a press release.

Stylistically, it melds traditional Thai music with hardcore, gabber, trance, and more.
