Manchester’s Homobloc announces full line-up

Homobloc has released the full line-up for its 2024 day-into-night event which returns to Depot Mayfield on Saturday 9th November.

Elsewhere, I.Jordan will perform live following the release of their debut album, ‘I AM JORDAN‘. As will LSDXOXO and Hercules & Love Affair. Meanwhile, DJ sets from Chloé Caillet, HAAi, Horse Meat Disco, Nicky Siano, Prosumer, Mykki Blanco, Grove b2b TASH LC, Gina Breeze, Hannah Holland, and Meme Gold will have also been announced.

Tickets go on general sale at 10AM GMT Friday 16th August.

“It’s been a wild ride since the party started in 2019. The festival production has evolved so much and we’ve gone from half of Manchester plus the kitchen sink on stage, to choreographed pieces with global touring artists,” said Homobloc’s Creative Director, Sophie Bee.

“Our research and development design team based at Islington Mill has been a place for experimentation, allowing space for people’s imagination to flourish,” she continued. “It’s an honour to work on a collaborative, loving, fun spectacle, with such innovative producers from mixed art forms. This year there are some really beautiful production moments that we can’t wait to share with all our family, friends and community.”

The LGBTQIA+-led event is an offshoot of the decade-spanning party, Homoelectric. 2024’s edition will feature a strong contingency of creatives from Manchester’s legendary queer scenes, and those in surrounding areas. These include vogue crews Ghetto Fabulous, featuring Black Peppa, and Kiki’s Home of Blaque, drag luminary Anna Phylactic, dance curator Darren Pritchard, and a takeover by Feel Good Club’s Make Me Feel.

“Make Me Feel is crafted with Feel Good Club’s ethos in mind and we’re so excited for what we’ve created,” said Beau-Azra, of Feel Good Club. “It feels really special to be able to build and share spaces with such amazing groups of artists. It’s important for us that the people on stage reflect the intentions of Make Me Feel, authentically and with purpose. The night has been incredibly special since the debut event and we’re excited to be bringing Make Me Feel to Homobloc”.
