Orbital and Leftfield announce co-headline show at Dreamland, Margate

Orbital and Leftfield are set to play a co-headline gig at Margate’s Dreamland this summer.

Scheduled for 14th September, the two iconic UK electronic music acts will each bring their live show to the venue on the same date as part of Dreamland’s Margate Summer Series.

Support at the gig will come from Paranoid London, Luke Vibert and Richard Fearless.

Rob Waller, who programmes Margate Summer Series, said in a statement: “It’s thrilling to announce Leftfield and Orbital. These household names have had such a positive impact on the electronic music scene, pushing the boundaries of their genres and paving the way for many other incredible dance acts.

“We’re endeavouring to give our audiences unique shows and to have Leftfield and Orbital co-headlining will be mind-blowing, even more special with Orbital being local to Kent.”

Tickets for the event will go on sale via Margate Summer Series’ website this Friday, 8th March.

Ahead of the Dreamland gig, Orbital will tour their 1991 debut album in the UK and Ireland through April and May.

Last year, Leftfield released double-vinyl reissue of their first two albums, featuring remastered audio.
