EDC announces European festival for 2021

News

Electric Daisy Carnival is returning to Europe for the first time since 2017.

As part of the global behemoth’s 25th anniversary celebrations in 2021, Insomniac‘s signature music festival will return to the continent for EDC Europe, having previously hosted European events from 2013 to 2017.

The European edition’s dates and “very special” location are yet to be revealed, but it will join established instalments in Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as further regular festivals in Mexico, Japan and China in ensuring that EDC’s 25th year is one to remember.

“It’s been an incredible 25 year journey with so many of YOU beautiful people from around the Globe,” EDC Las Vegas said in a tweet confirming its plans to return to Europe. “Let’s celebrate as we come full circle for our return to Europe!”

EDC’s 2021 Las Vegas edition sold out in under 24 hours when tickets went on sale last month. It had been officially postponed to May 2021 earlier in August, following some hopes that the 2020 edition could go ahead in October after it was unable to go ahead in May of this year as originally intended.
