Purelink release new album, ‘Signs’, via Peak Oil: Listen

Purelink have released a new album through US label Peak Oil.

Titled ‘Signs’, the six-track record sees the Chicago trio further explore the hazy electronic and ambient music heard on past releases for labels such as NAFF and Lillerne Tape Club.

‘Signs’ was pieced together from extended compositions that the band produced and performed across 2022 in cities such as Chicago, Kansas City, New York and Los Angeles. The trio described their process of working on music as “all hands on the mixer, forever finding the sound”.

They added that their sound is based on exploring “the endless possibilities of a laptop”, seeking “something different than we would make on our own”.

You can listen to ‘Signs’ below, and purchase it on Bandcamp here.
