Kwengface reveals new single, ‘Freedom’, in mask-lifting COLORS performance: Watch

Kwengface has revealed new single, ‘Freedom’, in a mask-lifting COLORS performance.

The UK drill artist’s new single sees him “finesse his flow over a garage-inspired production courtesy of CZR”. ‘Freedom’ is taken from Kwengface’s 17-track mixtape ‘The Memoir’, which is due for release this Friday.

The mixtape is said to be a representation of the artist’s last four years as a person and musician and will be released digitally, and on CD and cassette with different formats of the mixtape and associated merchandise available for pre-order now.

Check out the new single and video, in which he removes his balaclava publicly after more than five years behind the mask, below.

Having risen as a prominent member of seminal Peckham drill collective, Zone 2, Kwengface is a certified veteran of the scene, scoring a solo breakthrough in 2018 with ‘3 Stripes’ and dropping his debut mixtape, ‘YPB: Tha Come Up’, in 2021.
