Korg and Moog music-making apps are now free

News

Korg and Moog Music have made their music-making apps free as many around the world being self-isolation and social distancing as the coronavirus outbreak continues. Korg’s iKaossilator app for iOS and Android and Moog’s Model D app for iOS are now both free to download.

In an Instagram post announcing the news, Moog said the app was a “gift to spread positivity, creativity, and expressivity.” It’s a positive move in what has been a dark time for many musicians and producers, with clubs and events being cancelled and postponed. A petition has been launched for the UK government to provide financial assistance to the events industry in light of the cancellations.
