Sama' Abdulhadi announces four-week Phonox London residency

Sama’ Abdulhadi has announced a four-week Phonox London residency for January 2023.

The former DJ Mag cover star will take over the London club on the first four Fridays of 2023 with a number of guests in tow, including Victor Ruiz, Jennifer Cardini, and Union DJs, a music and arts collective that serves as a hub for DJs, producers, and creatives, which Abdulhadi set up in her hometown of Ramallah, Palestine.

Each night will begin with an hour-long set performed by a student from the Point Blank Music School. This follows Abdulhadi’s recent masterclass at the school, which involved a competition for student DJs. She will pick the four winners based on their 60-minute set submissions. Tickets for the residency will be available from Tuesday, 22nd November via RA.

“I loved playing at the club earlier this year for my Bring Back Beirut fundraiser and loved the energy of the loyal crowd who party there. I am bringing with me my Union collective crew again, plus have invited two artists whom I respect hugely – Jennifer Cardini and Victor Ruiz,” she said.

Earlier this year, Abdulhadi announced a new club event series, ‘Bring Back Beirut’, raising money for Lebanon as the country grapples with one of the world’s most severe economic crises.
