Colombia’s TraTraTrax label announces new compilation featuring Nick León, Nicola Cruz, Lila Tirando a Violeta, more

Colombia’s TraTraTrax label has announced a new compilation.

‘No pare, sigue sigue’ marks the label’s 10th and biggest release to date and aims to “bring together the heavyweights of the region, friends and fam + Latin diaspora”, delving into everything from cumbia, raptor house, and breaks into industrial dembow, tribal techno, weightless electronics and beyond.

Featured on the 16-track release are artists including Nick León & Luca Durán, Loris, DNGDNGDNG x Prisma, Bitter Babe, Nicola Cruz, DJ Babatr, Doctor Jeep, Verraco, DJ Babatr, Lila Tirando a Violeta x Sin Maldita, Safety Trance (aka Cardopusher) and others.

Speaking about the release, the label wrote: “Don’t stop, go on and on and on, cause there is no end or beginning. There is no single tag that covers what we are doing. And don’t worry, there is no need to understand it either.”

The artwork and visual assets for the compilation have been designed by the London-based artist Weirdcore who is known best for their work with Aphex Twin. Check out three selected tracks from the album below via Bandcamp.

‘no pare, sigue sigue’ will be released on 18th November. Pre-order it here.

‘no pare, sigue sigue’ follows previous records on the label from the likes of Quixosis, PVSSY & Entrañas, DNGDNGDNG & Prisma and Nick León’s ubiquitous 2022 festival season smash, ‘Xtasis’.
