Malaga’s weekly Sophie festival announces Move D, Damian Lazarus, more for August parties

Malaga festival Sophie continues its weekly summer party series this month with three more Sunday sessions.

The Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos-based event has taken place each Sunday since the beginning of July, and has already hosted the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, Enzo Siragusa, Francesco Del Garda, Giorgia Angiuli, Anetha and many more in that time.

This weekend, 14th August, the party will host Damien Lazarus, Guti b2b Dani Ramos, Move D and Rakim Under b2b Dorado. While more names are set to be announced for the summer’s last two parties, names already confirmed for the coming weekends include Appolonia, Craig Richards b2b Nicolas Lutz, Gene On Earth, Sonja Moonear and more.

The 3000-capacity open air venue has been specially built for the series of musical events in the fabulous surroundings of the Palacio De Congresos, pairing the natural beauty and culture of the area to help promote the ECO and sustainability values that form a big part of Sophie’s ethos.
