Semibreve announces full music programme for 2022 festival

Braga festival Semibreve has shared the full music programme for its 12th edition, scheduled to take place later this year.

Among the final names added to the bill is Caterina Barbieri, who returns to the festival this year for the first time since 2018. She’ll be presenting music from her recent album, ‘Spirit Exit’, alongside visual artists MFO and Ruben Spini.

The festival will also host a number of other collaborative performances this year, between Maxwell Sterling and visual artist Stephen McLaughlin; Lea Bertucci and Ben Vida; and François J. Bonnet and Stephen O’Malley.

They all join the previously announced likes of KMRU, Alva Noto, Jana Rush, BLEID and Gábor Lázar at this year’s festival, which takes place from 27th-30th October. A series of talks, artist workshops and installations will be confirmed in the coming months.
